We met on Darwin Avenue
I opened the door and found two men looking into the view
I thought to myself "Who are these guys?"
Naively, I ushered them in which wasn't very wise
After a long while of talking you mentioned your dad had a pond
At the description of it I knew we had a bond
You said please join me for fishing if you have some time
It got you my number with only one line
A few days later I couldn’t believe it when you called
I was in the break room at work but couldn’t help but be enthralled
We set up a date for fishing and some s’mores
On that upcoming Wednesday I was all yours
We have been together almost every day since
The perfect match I am convinced
We were married six years ago today
And have brought three amazing children our way
Every day I feel blessed by how much you love me
I am so excited for the rest of eternity
