Now that everything is settling down

May 22 - So much has happened in the last two weeks. First we moved into our new house on Memorial day weekend!!! YaY!! It was really nice because we had a good long weekend to get everything put away (It still isn't all put away...)

May 23 - We got blinds from Lowe's and a outdoor grill. It was an early Father's day present for Patrick (I love you). We have used it a bunch so far.

May 25 - We had our first house guests over and had a nice grilled dinner:)

May 24-29 - More unpacking and settling

May 30 - I made a wedding cake for my brother's wedding. It was white cake with a raspberry filling covered in buttercream frosting. It was quite delish if I may say so myself. I will post pictures as soon as we get them back from the photographer (Thanks Andrea!).

June 1-today - More unpacking and getting on with regular life. Got a crib for Kakes finally she looks so cute in that crib.




So this coming week - we are going to see our new little neice who came while we were moving so we haven't been able to see her yet. We have a wedding reception to go to for a friend of Patrick's that he grew up with.

Sunday is my little baby girl's birthday. I'm so sad and happy at the same time it is hard to decide how to act. We are going to have family over and have dinner and cake and ice cream. I'm going to make her a personal 6"x6" chocolate cake with chocolate mouse filling. mmmm...

Oh yeah.. we planted a garden, we go on a ton of walks, and we picked our first strawberries.
